GBL Virtual Summit
The GBL Summit event explores how games, gamification, and simulations can be leveraged to promote learning, motivation, and change, and it includes a combination of talks, interviews, and panel discussions with prominent researchers and practitioners in the field.
This year, we are pleased to welcome Clark Aldrich, Katrin Becker (PhD), Chris Crawford, Brock Dubbels (PhD), Simon Egenfeldt-Nielsen (PhD), Matthew Farber (PhD), Karl Kapp, Constance Steinkuehler (PhD), and Eric Zimmerman (PhD) who will tell us more about how games, gamification, and simulations can be used, improved, and further explored.
The summit will be an opportunity to interact with experts in the field, to network with like-minded people, and ultimately to learn more about using and designing solutions based on games, gamification, and simulations.
Each talk will be approximately 1hour long and will include Q&As with the speakers; interviews with some of the speakers will be available so that you can understand more about their background, their motivations, and the work that they are currently involved in; finally, panel discussions will give the opportunity for some of these speakers to answer (and share their insights on) key and important questions in the areas of games, gamification, and simulations.
All sessions (i.e., presentations, panels, or interviews) will be recorded and made available for replay, ensuring that you won't miss out on any valuable content even if you are unable to attend the live sessions.
Early bird tickets are available until this evening (Friday) and you can register here: [http://www.gbl-summit.com/
We look forward to seeing you at the GBL Virtual Summit,
